Annunciation

Annunciation Catholic School has been part of the Cole neighborhood for over 120 years. Ninety-five percent of our students come from low-income families who often struggle to make ends meet. Like our founders, The Sisters of Charity of Leavenworth, we are committed to serving the poor through education - providing the best educational opportunities for all who come through our doors. We strive to meet the needs of each child through a well-balanced curriculum that includes regular classes plus music, art, computer and physical education. We also provide: a before and after school tutoring program; a full-time social worker onsite who provides needed support services to families such as food, clothing, and rent assistance; an Enrichment Electives program gives students an opportunity to discover and explore new interests that could last a lifetime; and onsite ESL classes for parents. Annunciation works in partnership with families and the community to provide an environment that is safe, caring and challenging.
